Common questions.
How to read these results, and whether they transfer to a smaller business.
The figures come from the analytics implementations and reporting frameworks built during each engagement, and were measured after changes went live rather than forecast beforehand. Client names appear where permitted; some detail is necessarily generalised for commercial confidentiality reasons.
Because that is where most of nearly twenty years was spent. The SME work is more recent and, being smaller and more often confidential, is less frequently published. London FS is the fullest SME example currently available to share publicly.
The percentages are often comparable; the absolute numbers obviously are not. A twenty percent checkout improvement is still twenty percent whether the site turns over fifty thousand pounds or fifty million. The method transfers directly; only the scale does not.
The enterprise programmes ran from several months up to two years. SME engagements are typically shorter and more focused, often starting with an audit and a single clear priority rather than a multi-year programme spanning many markets and teams.
For SME work, usually yes, with the client's permission. Enterprise references are harder because of confidentiality agreements and because contacts move on over time, but the results described here are all documented and can be discussed in as much detail as you need.
